We’re back tonight with the real part six of Adventures Through the Window. I hope everyone enjoyed last week’s comedic break. I told David he really needs to try his hand at another, so he may be back at some point. In tonight’s episode TJ finds a feast has been prepared for his awakening. Fun as it all may seem, his suspicions grow as his memories begin to return. Just what are Ambrissia’s intentions, why is he so special in her eyes?
Need to catch up? You can peruse our latest posts, or you can read the story here if you prefer.
As always, thanks for joining us tonight. We hope you’re enjoying the story.

We have a special treat tonight! My nephew has come to stay with us this week and has successfully kept me on my toes. On top of that, my boss at work went and ventured off to Alaska for a couple weeks (lucky!). So, basically, this means tonight’s podcast episode is brought to you by our talented narrator David. He decided to take a wild stab at how Adventures Through The Window might end. I haven’t laughed so hard in a good while. You guys are going to love this. Next week we will return to the regularly scheduled story.
As always, David hopes you enjoy this story. To be fair though, I have threatened him with medieval torture should nobody enjoy tonight’s comedic break. So he has reason to hope. Want to spare David some pain? Then leave a comment showing your support!

Another Tuesday is upon us! Unfortunately I had to work most of the day, and most of the night really, but I did get it in before midnight! Sorry about the delay, folks.
In the last part, TJ lost consciousness in the forest. He wakes in a tall tower being waited on hand and foot. Is his rescuer and host someone he can trust, or just another inhabitant of this strange world looking to trick or use him? I could actually call this part 5 1/2. I had to break what I wanted into two parts for the sake of length. I hope you all will forgive me!
As always, I hope you enjoy the story.

Part four came out a bit shorter than some of the previous episodes. I knew what I wanted to come next, but between getting there and what happens there it all became too long. So I found a place I thought broke it up well and went with that. In this part, TJ is running away from old Ma Gister and looking for somewhere else to go. It isn’t until he’s caught in the forest that he remembers the old woman’s warnings about the poisonous bush. Will he find help before it is too late, or will even more trouble find him first?
As always, thanks for joining us!

Tuesday Night Stories is officially back! If you’ve missed the first two parts of Adventures Through the Window, you might want to catch up here. In tonight’s episode TJ meets with old Ma Gister, but will she reveal anything to TJ? When it turns out Jester isn’t quite as reliable as he seemed, the boy must find answers to these questions all by himself.
Thanks for joining us tonight, it feels great to get back to this story.

Late-night post update. I’ve been sickly the last 3 days or so. It’s never fun being sick and my mind is moving very slowly. I said I wanted to give everyone a recap of where we left on in Adventures Through The Window. It’s been 3-4 weeks since we’ve had the podcast with sickness, family problems, and so on.
In part one, James suspected his substitute teacher was up to something when he saw the man fleeing from his Vice Principal! James followed him into a world like nothing he’d ever seen. Part two continued with James’ adventure in this strange new land by leading him to a mysterious floating staircase. When James finally found his way down, he’s in the clearing of a colorful, strange forest, no staircase in sight. There were three paths that James could take, and eventually he decided on one.
If you’d like to read the first 2 parts, you can do so here. The story starts again with part 3 next Tuesday, as we see where his choice of paths takes him.

Part two of Adventures Through the Window. In this episode James finds himself lost in a place like nothing he’s ever seen. Stuck having to decide between multiple paths, he finds himself listening to the advice of an unlikely companion.
With tonight’s episode, TNS now has more than 40,000 words of free fantasy stories! On top of that, April 14th will be TNS’s one-year anniversary! Episodes are longer now than they were in the beginning. When I started this a year ago I did about 500-700 words every week, now it’s closer to 1100-1500 words. It makes me wonder how many words we’ll have added up by next year!
As always, thanks for joining us!

We start our sixth story this week, Adventures Through The Window. Spring break is over and I have quite a few posts to jump into later this week as well. In this story, young James feels like he is just another face in a large school until a mysterious substitute teacher takes an interest in him. Despite his cautious nature, James can’t help his curiosity when he happens to see the man walk straight through a large glass window on his way home from school one day! Unable to stop himself, James finds himself following his new teacher into a world unlike anything he’s ever experienced. To get back out again, James must not only find his way, but find himself as well.
As always, I hope you enjoy the story.
