Cool man, I remember your artwork way back when was amazing. I can't imagine how much better it must be now. We'll definitely have to come up with something. I haven't thought about Millitranne in a long time, it was always the name I wasn't very sure about, it's neat that it was one you liked a lot.

Ashthran was cool. I remember you getting me into that mud back in highschool with my mercenary monk, Saki AKA Veritas. I was addicted. I am amazed you have kept up with the rp book writting all these years. I do still want to do some artwork for yer book if nothing else but for fun. email me some character desc etc. and I will see what i can come up with. Hope Millitranne is in the assassin book. I always loved that name the best. I learned a bit at The Art Institute of Dallas ;)

Thanks guys! I don't think I'm QUITE there yet, Cabin. But maybe by the time I sell a book I could actually be good enough to have a hand in it, if not do the final draft. I'm hoping I can at least get a rough sketch of what I'd like. I've spent a lot of time studying book covers for different genres (after all, I unpack boxes of books at Barnes and Noble all day). I can tell 90% of the time where a book is going to be (at least fiction books) by the cover alone. Teen and Young Reader books are especially specific. The artwork for Young Reader (which is the genre I first want to get into, think Harry Potter covers) is a style I particularly like even, so a big bonus there! :)

I got lucky, I have a buddy that does all the recordings. He had a home studio and all anyway, and thought it would be fun to try. It worked out really well!

I haven't tried podcasting, but I do like to listen to them. I think I have to get over the weirdness factor of hearing my own voice... oh yes, and have something to actually talk about would be pretty key too! haha

Aww, how cute! I love it when they do that for the kids! I also plan to do a lot of swimming and fun! Btw, the site looks amazing, it was good before, but it's even better now!

I loved your idea of having ridiculous short goals, I really think I am going to try that out! 250 words a day before work and school. I think I can do that...thanks Rob!

I agree! I'm thinking I can spend 2 days a week on the podcast (or more if necessary) then have the whole rest of the week to dedicate to my YA novel! Huzzah!
