I don't think I'm QUITE there yet, Cabin. But maybe by the time I sell a book I could actually be good enough to have a hand in it, if not do the final draft. I'm hoping I can at least get a rough sketch of what I'd like. I've spent a lot of time studying book covers for different genres (after all, I unpack boxes of books at Barnes and Noble all day). I can tell 90% of the time where a book is going to be (at least fiction books) by the cover alone. Teen and Young Reader books are especially specific. The artwork for Young Reader (which is the genre I first want to get into, think Harry Potter covers) is a style I particularly like even, so a big bonus there! :) Thanks guys!
