With more than twenty years of programming under my belt, I decided it was time to look into a professional career in development. During college, I ran my own part time web design business where I created dozens of websites. Eventually, I had to choose between English and programming and chose English. I received my degree and pushed programming to the hobby side of my life. After deciding to teach programming to students at my school, I began to realize how much I missed it. Now I am looking to start a new career as a web developer. It is exciting to be learning all the new technologies that emerge every day.
